If collective memorial gifts reach $100,000, a named endowed fund will be established to support, in perpetuity, the听George Schmiedeshoff听Undergraduate Research Fellowship in Physics. Otherwise, gifts made in George's memory will be fully spent at the discretion of the听physics department for undergraduate research.听
